It’s time to talk about 2018’s beautiful disaster, We Happy Few. There is an absolutely amazing game hiding under the cracks, but it takes a certain type of player to see past all the bugs, the questionable design choices, and the horrible A.I. So what’s it all about, and who is this game for? Let’s break it all down.
We Happy Few, one of my favorite upcoming indie games, has gone AAA. Gearbox is now publishing it, and regardless of how you feel about Gearbox, it means a price increase to $60.
It also comes along with some of the other trappings of a AAA title including DLC, a Season Pass, and a Collector’s Edition (where the game in NOT included).
Good news is if you already own it via Early Access, you will still get the full game for free, but it’s full price for everyone else. Oh, and of course no DLC included with Early Access.
We Happy Few is out on Steam Early Access and the Xbox Game Preview program. Time to take a look at this title that is earily reminiscent of Bioshock. So how do you get loot and gear up fast? Murder everyone of course!
